The company was started in March 2024 and provides functional, play, compatibility and compliance testing services for videogame developers and publishers in Europe and North America across PC, console, and mobile videogames.

Job Overview

As a Game Tester, you will play a critical role in our development process, ensuring our game meets and exceeds the high standards of playability, reliability, and entertainment value expected by our players. You will be responsible for meticulously testing our game’s functionality, documenting your findings, and providing feedback to the development team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for gaming.

What will you do?

Thorough Gameplay Testing: Play through all parts of the game to identify and document bugs, glitches, and exploits.

Functionality Verification: Ensure all game mechanics work as intended across various platforms. This includes testing character movements, object interactions, and in-game physics.

User Experience Feedback: Provide detailed reports on gameplay experience, including difficulty balance, user interface ease of use, and overall game enjoyment.

Compatibility Testing: Confirm the game’s performance across different hardware setups, operating systems, and graphics settings to ensure a smooth experience for all users.

Regression Testing: After fixes and updates, verify that previously identified issues have been properly resolved without introducing new problems.

Quality Assurance Documentation: Maintain clear and concise records of testing procedures, findings, and the outcomes of resolved issues.

Communication: Work closely with the development and design teams to provide feedback and discuss potential improvements.

Adherence to Deadlines: Meet all testing phase deadlines, ensuring that game updates and patches are thoroughly vetted before public release.

Stress Testing: Push the game to its limits to determine load capacities and the threshold for game features under high-stress scenarios.

Security Testing: Identify any potential vulnerabilities that could be exploited by cheats or hacks.

Focus Group Participation: Assist in coordinating and conducting focus group tests, interpreting player feedback, and translating it into actionable insights for the development team.
