Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to lead our Quality Assurance team. The QA Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the excellence and integrity of our processes, products, and services. This position entails overseeing the entire QA department, implementing systems that facilitate productivity, and upholding compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Standards Development: Define, develop, and implement quality assurance standards, processes, and controls to meet internal and external requirements.
Team Leadership: Manage and lead the QA team, ensuring high performance, professional growth, and alignment with company objectives.
Testing and Procedures: Oversee the creation and execution of detailed testing plans, scripts, and procedures for product quality.
Quality Systems Management: Ensure the effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS), making improvements as necessary to keep pace with changes in the industry and technology.
Compliance Oversight: Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring all products and processes are compliant.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, report on performance against quality standards, and drive improvements.
Issue Resolution: Manage the identification, documentation, and resolution of quality issues. Facilitate root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Supplier Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure suppliers meet quality standards and contribute to supplier selection and evaluation.
Customer Feedback Management: Establish and maintain a process for gathering, analyzing, and responding to customer feedback regarding product quality.
Audit Management: Plan and conduct internal and external audits to evaluate the effectiveness of quality controls and identify areas for improvement.
Risk Management: Lead risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks related to quality across various projects and processes.
Training and Development: Develop training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge in quality assurance practices and tools.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with other departments such as R&D, production, and customer service to integrate quality assurance methodologies into all aspects of product development and delivery.
Budget Management: Oversee the QA department’s budget, ensuring resources are used efficiently and effectively to support quality objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in quality management, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
Extensive experience in quality assurance, with a proven track record in a managerial role.
Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and practices.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as ISO 9001.
