Job Title: Project Manager
Position: Full Time
Position Overview:
As a Project Manager, you will be at the helm of project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. The core of your role will be to coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive projects to completion while ensuring they meet all quality, time, and budget requirements. Your leadership will guide the collaborative efforts of team members, stakeholders, and third-party contractors. An adept Project Manager is a master communicator, an efficient organizer, and a problem-solver who can adapt to the dynamic nature of project work.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.
Team Leadership and Development: Manage project teams by providing direction and support, overseeing the delegation of tasks, and encouraging a collaborative project environment.
Budget Management: Analyze budgeting and accounting reports to maintain expenditure controls. Direct preparation of budgetary recommendations and financial planning.
Schedule Management: Determine and define clear deliverables, roles, and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives.
Resource Allocation: Procure resources and materials as needed before and during projects by talking with customers, team members, managers, and in-house accountants.
Quality Assurance: Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved, meeting all applicable standards and quality benchmarks.
Stakeholder Communication: Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project, including regular project updates and feedback sessions.
Risk Management: Anticipate and mitigate potential risks, develop contingency plans, and manage any issues that arise during the course of the project.
Performance Monitoring: Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals, meeting budgetary objectives and making adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports, ensuring all project papers are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to the required standards and regulations, conducting audits where necessary.
Continuous Improvement: Initiate and set goals for programs according to the strategic objectives of the organization, aiming for operational excellence through the ongoing refinement of project management practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in project management and a track record of delivering projects successfully, on time, and within budget.
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management qualification preferred.
Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
Experience with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
Exceptional leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Excellent ability to lead and manage teams and projects.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Adaptability and the capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in strategic planning, risk management, or change management.
